During the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, my beloved city of Amsterdam came to a halt. The tourists vanished. The nightlife disappeared. The streets and the canals were quiet. Suddenly, I was able to see Amsterdam through new eyes. I felt like a tourist in my own city. These are some of the first pictures I took.
